Susan is a JD/MBA and former General Counsel who has been consulting in blockchain for the past three years in the areas of consortia, insurance, identity, financial services, real estate, and humanitarian concerns. She is the B3i North America Representative, helped build and runs a Blockchain Working Group for a global insurer, and separately advises on projects to design/align token strategies and incentives regarding digital rights. She is consulted about regulatory and technology policy including the relationship between blockchain and AI.  Notably, she is a co-founder and Executive Director of the recently launched Diversity In Blockchain, Inc. Not-For-Profit that was incubated by MIT. Susan was the first Executive Director of ID2020 and helped build the group. She then consulted for IBM (positioned their blockchain identity practice). She is an Adviser to OneWorldIdentity and frequently guest lectures at MIT's Computational Contracts course. Susan sits on the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance Identity Working Group, is a member of the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance legal working group, and is a member of the Digital Chamber of Commerce. Recently she spoke about blockchain at CKGSB, the Spanish Embassy, the MET Community event on STEM for International Womens' Day and has educated the Women in Public Boards group. She has guest lectured on fintech to Cornell undergrads, and founded and runs the womeninfintech group on Linkedin which has 1700 plus members in 47 countries.
